Common questions
01

Who receives my donation?

Funding, grants and charitable contributions are administered through Think Big Foundation Inc. Tax receipts are issued by Think Big Foundation Inc.

02

What is Keys to Opportunity?

Our non-cash giving framework. It accepts vehicles, real estate, travel rewards, securities and in-kind goods or services, then converts them into direct access for people who need it.

03

Do you accept vehicles that don't run?

Often, yes. Non-running vehicles may be repaired for placement or sold to fund the program. Offer it and we will give you a straight answer after review.

04

Is a donated asset tax-deductible?

Gifts are acknowledged by Think Big Foundation Inc. Deductibility, valuation and appraisal requirements depend on the asset and your situation. Nothing on this site is tax or legal advice.

05

How long does review take?

Cash and in-kind offers are typically reviewed within days. Vehicles, securities and property require additional diligence. Every submission receives a reference number and a status.

06

Can I apply for a vehicle?

Yes. The Keys to Mobility application is open year-round. Vehicles are matched to approved applicants as they become available; applying does not guarantee a placement.

07

How do I nominate someone for an award?

Nominations open ahead of each awards cycle and are submitted through the nominations page.

08

Who can join the Alliance?

Individuals, organizations and businesses. Membership tracks are outlined on the membership page.
